The battery still wasn’t completely flat when we recharged it.
During one of our tests, a planned National Grid power outage meant our demonstration pod suddenly became one of the most useful things in the building! The results impressed us and showed just how practical a compact off-grid electrical system can be.
These results come from our own demonstration testing. Actual battery runtime will vary depending on appliance power consumption, usage, battery charge and operating conditions. The activities above formed part of the reported test, rather than guaranteed individual runtimes.

Do I need to modify my vehicle?
No. The POWER UP BUNDLE is designed as a self-contained system and doesn’t require modifications to your vehicle’s existing wiring or battery.
How do I charge the battery?
The system uses a Victron Blue Smart charger and can be charged from a suitable mains supply before your trip.
Can I use normal household appliances?
The inverter provides 230V power for compatible appliances, subject to its 1200W rating and the system’s operating limits. Always check the power requirements of your appliances.
Can I cook without gas?
Yes. The bundle includes an 800W induction hob, allowing you to cook using electrical power rather than gas.
How long does the battery last?
Runtime depends on the appliances you use and how long you use them. Our own testing demonstrates a range of everyday camping activities from a single charge, but individual results will vary.
Is the POWER UP BUNDLE included with every Camper Pod?
No. It’s an optional upgrade available for £895.

All upholstery bundles use 3” high-density breathable foam, designed for both comfortable seating and sleeping.
The foam is fire-retardant, and all cushion covers are zipped for easy removal and cleaning.
Choose how your fabrics are arranged on the cushions.
All faces of the cushions use one fabric colour.
Sides and bases use one colour, while the tops use a second colour.
Cushion tops are finished in Harris Tweed, with sides and bases in your chosen Classic fabric.
